Still not impressive considering that they had to go to overtime to win the first game.  No the competion in the West wasn't though since most of the teams they beat to get to the finals had key injuries.  I stand by what I said if they win it all they will be easily the most overrated 60+ regular season team to win a title.

Sounds like you're a member of the LeBron Defense Force.

I'm sick of hearing how he's still the best even when he loses.  Whoever wins the title is the best.  Plain and simple.  You can't win a title and be overrated.  Overrated is a team like the Atlanta Hawks who were terribly exposed in the playoffs.  I just don't want to hear crap about how someone can get lucky by winning four best of seven series.  That's a bunch of hogwash.

Not at all a member of the LeBron Defense Force I root for the West (the Mavs are the closest team to where I live and I like all the NBA teams from Texas) but Golden State is higly overrated no matter how you look at it.  Also if what I said isn't true then please name me another 60+ regular season winning team that won the title that is more overrated than this years Golden State team.

Well a series doesn't reveal the best players, only the best team.  Jerry West, Elgin Baylor, and Wilt Chamberlain all land higher on the vast majority of "greatest all time" lists than anyone on the Celtics of the 60s.  Yet all of them lost to that team numerous times.  Just saying, don't lay this all on Lebron; even Jordan couldn't win alone.   Keep the discussion focused on the teams, not one guy.  And on the point of teams, Cleveland is missing key players, Golden State is not.  At full capacity, they make for a pretty even match.

You're right about that, but I think that LeBron is the most overrated player ever.  There you go.  I said it.

And what you're saying backs up my point of how a team that wins the title can't be overrated.

I think you are cluess about sports if you really think that a team that wins it all can't be overrated.  Any other 60+ regular season win NBA team that won the title would pretty much sweep this years Golden State squat in a seven game series.  If they win it all they are barely going to win it all against a team that isn't even seven players deep due to two starters being out.  Heck even the 1994-95 Houston Rockets that only won 47 games during the regular season and won the title would sweep this years Golden State squat in a seven game series.  They barely can contain Mozgov, Olajuwon would destoy them.

But in fairness, GSW do play small ball and Mozgov scores most of his points when the play is between him and Lebron and that's because Lebron takes too much attention.

Also, I think GSW would rather have Mozgov be the focal point of the Cavs offense because he won't have a 10/12 FT every game and also it keeps the wing players like JR Smith from helping and spacing the floor out. I think right now GSW would rather see the paint congested with Mozgov rather than an open space with Lebron driving with impunity.

That might be the case but the fact remains that the 94-95 Rockets would destroy this years Golden State Warrior squat in a seven game series.  They sweept the best Orlando Magic squad ever in the finals and Golden State is not even on the same level as that team.  That is when Shaq was at his prime the only season he was slighly better was with 99-00 Lakers but on that squat he did not have someone on the same level as Horace Grant stating at power forward so he had to carry more of the load.  Shaq in his prime couldn't stop Olajuwon againt this years Golden State squad The Dream would avarage close to 50 points a game in a four game sweep.

That Rockets team would probably destroy the current Cavs team with Love and Irving healthy. I will not even dispute how great that Rocket team was.

If we're going on about who can defeat the current teams in the Finals, I'm pretty sure the Spurs this year could have beaten LeBron's team again.

I'm not sure if anyone in the East this year can beat the Warriors though. They can shoot and run just as well as D'Antoni Suns team but have a much better defense. And they've shown in the Grizzlies series and this Finals that they can respond when they need to and with a dominant performance no less.

I honestly think The Clippers could have beaten this Cavs teams, which pisses me off they choked 3 games away.

If they Grizzlies would have been 100% healthy they would have easily beaten Golden Staten.  Also speaking of D'Antoni Suns teams both Nash MVP teams would beat Golden State in a seven game series and neither of those teams made it to the finals.

Well the Clippers are done more then likely there will be major roster chances before the next season starts.  That being said the Lakers aren't going to be good anytime soon either even if Kevin Love ends up going there next season.  The Celtics will win another title before the Lakers will win one since they are loaded with first round draft picks for years to come.
