I'm not that big on first week sales, I'm more of a lifetime sales person. But honestly, I just hope this game does 100k+ in Japan on its first week. Most Wii U games barely hit that. Japanese love RPG's. Do you think its possible for this game to do 100k+ in the first week for Japan? Or right under maybe in like the 90k?

I would hope so, but the Japanese market is so hard to predict nowadays.

Probably around the 80k mark would be my prediction. Just a random number plucked out of thin air though.

Exactly that's my point. We have no idea how well it'll do at this point even though people expect it to do very well.

It ticks all the boxes to do well, but like i said that means nothing in Japan. I predict a modest opening week about 80k, then the forums will be infested with Xenoblade Chronicles flop threads. The game will have a similar sales pattern as Hyrule warriors, solid in Japan and good sales in the west. I think 1million lifetime is doable.
