Why not both?
I finally have my copy of the game, however I can´t start playing because I have to download the loading speed packs. Hopefully it doesn´t take a lot of time

Well, I already have problems with starting too many games at once. Right now, I'm pretty focused between like 4 games. Don't want to botch my good momentum.
Glad I bought it online. I was so tempted to buy it and play it today, but I have finals to study for, and I had already ordered it. Won't be here until the 12th according to Amazon. By then I should be well into finals that I wouldn't dare be distracted by the game, and then that weekend I can binge play it. :D

It's not just you, the text is pretty small even on my 42" screen. I can still read it, but it'd be easier if it was bigger.
That's pretty much my only gripe so far; I'm only an hour in, but I am loving it to death so far. It just oozes that epic flair that made the first Xenoblade so classic. I wasn't sure it would have that same feeling, but it has it in spades. It's like a Japanese Mass Effect.
According to IGN, the next Xenoblade will focus on story progression again which is a very good thing. Hiding away story between stupid mandatory fetch / kill quests is a huge design flaw in X. There is no freedom if you are not free to continue with the story any time.
All the side quest stuff can stay but it should be purely optional. The focus on story progression is what made the original Xenoblade perfect, despite its many sidequest related flaws. Also a focus on story does not mean that there are less things to do.
I'm having fun with it so far, but man, I have like 3 games I'm playing right now, RE6 with somebody, this, and the new chapter of Dreamfall Chapters, and I'm going on vacation and shit, fuck, not enough time.
Anyone else catch the awesome Iwata easter egg early on? :)
(Very mild spoilers)
If you talk to the guys outside the gate, between defeating the Grexes and entering NLA, one of them says that that the gate will be shut for a while... "please understand".
I´m finally able to play the game for the first time, and I have to say that title screen music is powerful
