So, it has bad pacing and bad writing. Those things would generally fall under story problems.

Where did they say the writing was bad?

I consider something that is unable to convey its plot points in a succinct manner to be overly verbose and thus poor. I also intrepret the tempo of dialogue to mean that there is a lot of filler or unimportant things distracting from the main plot.

Yes, this is intentional.

Spem has been asking if there is no story in this game for awhile, thats what i was pointing out :0

I gotcha. I don't think of the complaints sound really all that bad. It sounds like your typical Monolith Soft game.

I don't feel any game is perfect, least of all the XIII series.

>I don't feel any game is perfect

Well, thus you wouldn't give a perfect score, but I'm pretty sure a lot of people don't feel the same way.

>least of all the XIII series

I think everyone already got that you don't like XIII and love Xenoblade. Your opinion isn't the only one that's valuable in the universe, though.

Well, being it's the lowest rated main series title as well as one of the lowest selling post FF VII boom (Lightning Returns has only sold 1.25 mil across 2 platofrms), I think we can say a lot of people would agree with me. ;)

I love how it is all the Sony fans popping in trying to spin this into something worst than it is.

Im a PC fanboy, also calling people fanboys is a bannable offense.

Where did I say, "fanboy"? And when did I even mention you?

Wow, some people attacking Famitsu because of the score, a good one.
If it was a 40/40 I bet some wouldn't be saying anything, and using other 40s to compare to it in a bad way as I've seen here.

So when Sony fans get mad with a game score, some that was as low as 2, it's funny and they are blind, but when a Nintendo game scores a 8.5 the reviewers are a joke and other games don't deserve their score? Damn.

I'm leaving this thread.

The circle of life is complete! Lol.

He didn't call anyone fanboys, you however did. Even if you're talking about yourself. :p

And yeah, it's mostly Sony fans that are taking things a bit out of proportion here.

I guess P & D will get GOTY according to their logic.

you didnt said what sites gives real reviews, i want examples :)

"i just find it funny how some people come out of there way to bash this game especially when its an "8.5" lol"

Saying its not GOTY is bashing a game? , didnt saw a single guy bashing this game in this thread.

Games thant arent GOTY or score less than 90 are just like 30fps games. Completely broken and unplayable.

I predict that the Wii U will sell a total of 18 million units in its lifetime.

The NX will be a 900p machine

You are wrong. DAI has an 85 on PC (best version) and 85 on XBO. The 89 of Ps4 is for the exclusive review outlets of ps4 related stuff.

Wrong about exclusive content being rated higher or something else?

The DAI score is higher on ps4... why? Obviously because the amount of sony related webs giving the game higher scores. Best version is PC, and the XBO version is the same as the ps4. So why is 4 points down?

Ouch, seems like Famitsu didn't get the cheque. Nintendo going bankrupt confirmed?

Titanic sold better than 12 angry men. It doesn't make it a better movie. It's no news that the mass public is retarded.

Also it's fun you compare VII sales with LR, when it should be compared with Dirge of Cerberus. Never in FF's history a direct sequel sold more than the main entry.

Also you say the lowest rated, but once again, lowest rated by who ? A lot of people thinking a game is flawed doesn't mean one can not love it.

Most people does not equal everyone.

Depends on the game, really. Xenogears and Xenosaga both had pacing issues, I won't deny that. In fact I've written about it, before. But I wouldn't say their pacing issues were because they had poor writing. A story can be paced poorly yet still have good writing. I mean the worst part of Xenogears/Xenosaga's writing was that the overuse of specialized language confused the player, but that is something pulled off quite well in many novels, and not so badly in Xenogears (they use it to their advantage in certain areas.)
