My prediction is 8,000,000 in 2015 and 7,000,000 in 2016.

So, i predict 25,500,000 XBO by end of 2016, and will outsell XBOX in December 2016. That is what i think.

That's depressing the original Xbox was so low. I loved my Xbox.  

Edit on subject: It all depends on how agressive Sony is in the US and which console is the first to "slim". Right now Mid 2016 if Sony is really agressive countering the holiday momentum early/mid 2017.

Mcc was broken. It could've done so much more. Plus that's just a remaster of games people already played And what people tend to ignore is that it dropped out the kinect. You were getting less for less. So it didn't just drop 150. Plus it's 350 only in America. Same price as ps4 in a lot of places in Europe. Also you expect it to sell equal in 2016 as 2014? That's really weird. And only one million more than 2014 when halo 5 is coming out. Halo 5!

Look the XB360.

It have sold 6,800,000 in 2006, and 7,800,000 in 2007. 1,000,000 increase, and is released Halo 3.

Even the XBOX the second year is increase by only 200,000...

In the US is up YOY by 7% so far, and XBO was at 500$ in the same period of 2014.

Another important fact was the lifetime data... just 4 year... if the XB360 was coming in 2007 i see the XBOX to selling 30,000,000/35,000,000.

It could also be viewed that the original SKU gave you less for more. General consensus as far as I understand is that nobody wanted kinect in the first place. The point is, price of entry has dropped $150 since launch a little over a year ago. The price was cut as well as a peripheral that should not have been bundled in the first place.

On topic ~ it's hard to say considering sales data about the current console isn't clear. The assassins creed bundle is just now starting to exit on amazon and that's the same bundle they had released when they announced "almost 10 million shipped".... If theyre still pushing stock from that SKU then there was a major over shipment during last Christmas. We have no idea whether or not they've actually sold 10 mill yet d: just speculation and guesstimates.
