Forums - Microsoft Discussion - When XB1 will outsell the original XBOX?

When XBO will break 25,000,000 unit mark?

Starting 2016 51 14.74%

Half of 2016 53 15.32%

End of 2016 68 19.65%

Starting 2017 23 6.65%

Half of 2017 16 4.62%

End of 2017 25 7.23%

2018 or after 17 4.91%

Never 93 26.88%

Total:346

between end of 2016 and start of 2017.... maybe im to pessimistic about sales though.

Someone needs to do a slope line equation for LTD using two points. The best points should be 3/31 of 2014 and 12/31 of 2014 in my opinion. If we had data for 3/31 of 2015, that would be a better point.

Anyway let x be the number of months and y be the sales.

Guys pls, stop voted never. xD

Unless sales slow down then it should pass the OG Xbox at the latest in the fall or so of 2016.

Mid 2016? Unless a dramatic change happens.

Bet with Teeqoz for 2 weeks of avatar and sig control that Super Mario Odyssey would ship more than 7m on its first 2 months. The game shipped 9.07m, so I won

The equation comes out to 780x (in thousands) but we know this is heavily skewed by the holidays.
Anyway using this equation we get about 32 months or another 16 months from now so it should pass the original xbox by July of 2016.

The first XBOX have sold around 25,000,000 lifetime.

When do you think XBO will break this numbers?

I'm gonna to say by end of 2016, starting 2017 at least.

That would require it to only sell 7 mil each year. In 2014 it sold that much without halo and gears sequels.

25,000,000 is WW.

US is 15,000,000.
