I don't think so. There's no reason to model it like that if it was just CGI or something. They'd make it look better. Either it's coming out on the Vita, or this game is having a dual release on the NX next year.

So they lied about a 3DS version? If it weren't on 3ds they wouldn't have announced MH:S for it!

I just assume that they're using 3DS as a general term. Though it could be a FF Explorers situation where it comes out on both, but runs like shit on the old model.

You're acting like this would be the first time a game was anounced for multiple platforms after it's reveal. This is different from a downgrade. I've never seen a trailer for a 3DS game where they use ingame assets rendered at a higher resolution for a trailer. I'm still calling NX.

It seems pretty darn unrealistic that the NX would go from no info/no name/no true showing or announcement to release in just a year and a half. It really seems like the only reason we were even given the project code name "Nx" was to quell fears during their mobikd announcement.

Given the new 3ds is still selling and they've a number of titles planned for it, the NX would also be rather premature... No need to rush it out.

I imagine it will just look lower resolution once you're looking at it on the 3ds screen.
