The game looks great as it is right now, but I'll wait until next year to play it to see what modders can do with the game.

I really didn't care for Witcher 2 but this trailer is making me consider giving 3 a go. Anyone know if the devs have specified how important playing the first 2 games is to understanding the plot of the third?
I've never really been into the witcher series, but I'm seriously considering into buying this.
are the sex scenes optional? I hear there is a lot of nudity in it and it would be awkward to play it in front of my family.
If they are not its kinda a deal breaker for me. I was fine with DA:I nudity because it was totally optional, did not like it in the Order in the form of an unskippable cut scene.

I agree, DA:I was a big disappointment but you have to remember there are no 'throw' away quests in The Witcher. Even side quests have cut scenes and an effect on the environment.
