Cod brings in a lot of casuals. If one console offers cod while the other doesn't, which console will they choose. Ps2, ps1 didn't have an online game like cod but so didn't the competition. No advantage given away.

So many casuals, no console's ever topped the PS2's sales numbers.  Three cheers for casuals?

because there would of been other leading games for casuals in gen 6. Right now, cod is one of the biggest games on ps4 and X1. It's one of the biggest games for casuals along with fifa/madden, need for speed, assassins creed and gta. If one console doesn't have cod, it doesn't matter if they have all the others, they will choose the console that will supply all their fixes.

Some people just don't have empathy.

I have plenty, only for people who deserve it.  Never saw a shred of empathy from any console user when CoD went console exclusive.

^Yeah that statement right there says you don't.

Prediction for console Lifetime sales:

Wii:100-120 million, PS3:80-110 million, 360:70-100 million

[Prediction Made 11/5/2009]

3DS: 65m, PSV: 22m, Wii U: 18-22m, PS4: 80-120m, X1: 35-55m

I gauruntee the PS5 comes out after only 5-6 years after the launch of the PS4.

[Prediction Made 6/18/2014]

In a perfect world, where Sony wasn't concerned about sales, I think it'd be great if Sony denied Activision any license to release BO3 on Playstation. Not only would it mean Microsoft wasted money buying timed exclusivity on DLC et al, but it kneecaps Activision's potential install base. Win+Win in my opinion.

Like cod or not, that would be suicide for PlayStation.

I dont think so, CoD is losing popularity. It would be stupid for Sony to do it but it would not effect consoles sold much at all

Nah, its probably MS. No way they would let this game go over to Sony.

they should but they won't most probably as Microsoft has activision in the bag and activision must be getting paid real nice

sony normally doesn't fork out alot of money on marketing

they should have done it rather with battlefield 4

The COD series see's most of it's sales on the next generation consoles and most of those sales are on the PS4.

Going with Sony could see a considerable increase in the sales on the PS4, possibly more than enough to offset the loss of Xbox One sales and then some.

Call of Duty is one of the last strongholds for the Xbox One so loosing the marketing exclusivity would be a real punch to the gut.

This is the Game of Thrones

Where you either win

or you DIE

Sony have uploaded the cod teaser video
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=iUjxgZRJKd0
Afai am aware, xbox youtube have not.

Also, it has the release date for the reveal.
In the past sony havent uploaded the teasers for the reveal, because the reveal videos are usually littered with xbox (360) advertising.
This may be true

Hmm I really hope it's Sony.
