Which manufacture will have the marketing rights to COD this holiday?

Sony 67 37.64%

Microsoft 93 52.25%

Nin-never mind 15 8.43%

Other(Steam?) 3 1.69%

I'd rather Sony partner with EA on Battlefront. MS more than likely already has a deal in place for BO3.

Yeah and i think there would be some irony in that. This gen has been more a role reversal. I can honestly see Star Wars Battlefront being sponsored by Sony and then there being a Special Star wars PS4... which would be even more crazy considering MS did a Star Wars themed console last gen.

Take the PS4 white, add a graphic on it, just like the Batman bundle, put in the game, sell loads. Print money.

I also would be very surprised if MS havent already sewn up the BO3 bundle/marketing and would expect them to push hard on it.

Says who?  PC's my primary, Playstation I buy for Gran Turismo first, and anything else that comes to the platform is bonus.  And your logic is rather faulty.  Even if CoD weren't avail on PS platforms, there are plenty of other games on it that people enjoy.  Gran Turismo, for example...Sony's highest selling franchise of all time.  Besides, Polyphony and Sony go hand in hand, so even if no other games ever came out on Playstation, I'd still get it, just for Gran Turismo.

Not a chance. Money bags Microsoft will write a bigger check. It makes more sense for 3rd party to cut deals with Microsoft because they are willing to spend more and it will help offset difference in install base some.

You would. But cod is huge. Tons of people only buy cod and nothing else. It being exclusive to Xbox would be crazy

yeah i agree with what others have said, i think sony will have battlefront this fall (and there will very likely be a special edition console considering they have gone mad for them lately) which IMO is the better deal.

hoggin' all the action, I see...

Maybe for a bundle but MS will still get timed exclusive DLC.

It probably wont matter on sales though. The last black ops sold about the same number of copies on PS3 and 360 despite PS3 having lower resolution, x360 having timed exclusive DLC.

In a perfect world, where Sony wasn't concerned about sales, I think it'd be great if Sony denied Activision any license to release BO3 on Playstation. Not only would it mean Microsoft wasted money buying timed exclusivity on DLC et al, but it kneecaps Activision's potential install base. Win+Win in my opinion.

Like cod or not, that would be suicide for PlayStation.

Doesn't matter anyway though, CoD is now a playstation franchise regardless. It sells more on Playstation now with or without marketing dollars. Let MS advertise the game for Sony and they still have more last gen and current gen players.
