Last one guys.  Tell me what you like and what you dont like about VGC.  Tell me what you would improve, what would you add?

Thank you guys for your feedback, I appreciate it.  Your guys feedback is very important to me

bad

bring back the weekly updates and include top 100 SW

forums are full of spammers and useless topics

game database is a joke you cant add new games, all new games are missing, you cant contribute to it anymore

sales discussions have dwindled, rules are to harsh bringing a end to console warz are the site

theres a lot of cluster on the main page and forums bring back the simple white and blue days of 07-08

I also thought a bit on ongoing game discussion. I do like discussing games and my current progress with them, but I don't play enough of the same to really participate. With the abundance of forums, it's easily for those smaller threads to be lost.

"We'll toss the dice however they fall,
And snuggle the girls be they short or tall,
Then follow young Mat whenever he calls,
To dance with Jak o' the Shadows."

Very well thought out post and agree with most of everything you said.  Do you have any recommendations to fix any of them though?

Most of the contributing part is several-fold.

1. There is a heavy division in the fanbases. Moderation needs to really step forward and weed out those people who are constantly causing problems. All fanbases are at blame here
2. Simple ease of participation. It's so hard navigating the site on mobile that it's really just a drag to go on while you're doing something else. Mobile browsing needs to be literally exactly like the mobile gaf forum.
3. Moderation is too heavy against minor infractions and too light on persistent infractions. Saying something like "i knew this thread was by the OP" shouldn't be moderated. Implying someone is biased shouldn't be moderated. It should be moderated when things go too far. This is also similar to gaf. Small infractions aren't penalized. You can make all kinds of jokes and comments and not be moderated, but when you become aggressive, that's where the moderating begins.
4. Simply not enough userbase. Mostly again, this is a problem with site navigation and well, leadership. Back in the day, mods created threads about sales. I know that not everyone agreed with "thesource" myself included, but it was nice having the leaders on the site actively discussing topics that the site is all about.
5. Participation. A lot of people have walls up here. I feel like a large part of the community actively discourages participation with other groups, as I said before, I've seen this on all sides.

Quite a pain to use if you are a smartphone user.

the bad from this site are:

less Asian people here
less single Japanese girl here
less single kawaii Japanese girl here.

The Official NSFW Anime Thread has a lot of Asian(?) anime girls. Jizz and I post there very often. Trust me, it's very kawaii desu.

That is certainly one word for it.

I'd also like to say that there should be no walls between discussion IMO.

Here lies the dearly departed Nintendomination Thread.

VGC likes:
- Too many console warriors (i enjoy reading console wars) :D
- Member count is about right (not too many, not too few)
- Many intelligent members
- Many whacked members

dislikes:
- Webpage is unfriendly to mobile users
- Pages load slow
- Easy to make troll accounts

I'm sure you mean well by that because I know for a fact that you're one of our frequent visitors for "official" mod business.
