no i'm saying bloodborne, batman and everything else i listed will carry the ps4. you're highly, and i do mean highly, underestimating what a $100 price cut can do. especially since ps4 hasn't had a single price cut yet. by the way, the ps4 is not selling as fast as the wii, but it also was $150 cheaper than the ps4 is now and the ps4 is holding up pretty damn well.

I don't think Sony will cut it $100 that soon. Especially when they don't have to. As a corporation that lives and dies by revenue and profits, I can't see them giving away "free" money like that. Maybe...just maybe, $349, but not $299.

why should they cut the price? there's no reason,their console is selling so well...making lots of profit!
the 100$ price cut is not concerned,i expect some good deal for holidays,that's all!
they have just to release some strong exclusive for the holidays...

i think they'll do it to increase market share even further, grow their install base obviously, and simply burry the xbox even further.

Great predictions, and nice timeline.

Also, don't forget PS Now spreading in EU, and continueing to grow/expand in the US. Good chance we will see the addition of PS1 and PS2 at one of the big trade shows this year.

PlayStation Vue will also be nation wide in the US by the holiday season. If they can lock down ABC/ESPN then it should be a real contender to sat and cable.

I think you are on the right track sales wise, as PS4 is no longer a traditional console. PS4 is now competing with PC, Set Top Boxes (Roku, Amazon Fire, Apple TV, etc.), cable and satalite, and the traditional console market (Same applies to XBO as well). It has everything it needs to be the next massive growth device in the gaming market. Like PS1 took the market from 60M to 100M, then PS2 went from 100M to 150M. I think PS4 has the potential to bring its gaming, entertainment, and productivity to over 200M households.

believe it or not, i've actually seen people in real life talking about playstation vue, and people are saying it's really nice.

Well, if the pricecut does happen, the PS4 sales will go up. However, by how much will remain to be seen. I can imagine 9.5 million, maybe even 10. 11 could be pushing it though.
