If they can lock down ABC/ESPN then it should be a real contender to sat and cable. I think you are on the right track sales wise, as PS4 is no longer a traditional console. PS4 is now competing with PC, Set Top Boxes (Roku, Amazon Fire, Apple TV, etc.), cable and satalite, and the traditional console market (Same applies to XBO as well). It has everything it needs to be the next massive growth device in the gaming market. Like PS1 took the market from 60M to 100M, then PS2 went from 100M to 150M. I think PS4 has the potential to bring its gaming, entertainment, and productivity to over 200M households. |
believe it or not, i've actually seen people in real life talking about playstation vue, and people are saying it's really nice.
