Anyhow well done for the platinum, I hear that this game is notoriously difficult, I definately won't have the persistence., determination and mastery to platinum Bloodborne.

Done! Do i get a cookie? :)
I platinumed it yesterday and also have Dark Souls 1/2 platinumed. Just need the Demon's Souls platinum but that one has such an annoying grind that I didn't feel like doing it, still beat the game though.

Sure!
*Hands over chocolate chip cookie*

I've put about 25+ hrs into this game and only beaten 5/17 bosses so far. When I was done exploring Yarnham and the Cathedral Ward I thought I was almost half way through the game, then I realised I wasn't even a quarter the way through.
I love this game. I may try Plat it depending on whether I can be bothered to play the dungeons.
How much is it going through them? How well do they hold up to the actual campaign?
Daaaaaang, congrats! That's pretty impressive considering the short time it's been out.
It'll be awhile before I figure out how to do one of these. :P

How difficult was it to platinum Bloodborne compared to Dark Souls 1 & 2?

Doesn't look that bad when compared to dark souls. Mostly just trophies for bosses and the three endings. The rest come while you are taking care of bosses

Oh hell, that should be a cake walk then compared to the other souls games. You had to fully upgrade every possible upgrade path for weapons, find all magic, find all special weapons and upgrade a few of 'em. It took multiple playthroughs with one character to get everything. It was like that in Demon's Souls and Dark Souls. I think it's the same in Dark Souls 2.

You still have to get every weapon and special weapon in this game but it's like 26 items. You need to find all the items that do magic too (this games version of magic spells) also but you only need to upgrade one weapon to maximum. I would say Dark Souls 1 and 2 took longer to platinum but Bloodborne was barely harder for me because of the damn chalice dungeons that you need to do. Screw the 4th defile one and the 5th one.
