And preorders for Devil's Third opened yesterday in Japan, so it making an appearance is expected. However, getting to #3 is a fairly good sign.

Looks like Amazon was right with WU, it sold very nice this week!
Well, is also true that now the WU is dropped... :-/ but still WU > PS4
Considering PS4 is at 10-12k level, I think WU will be at 12-15k this week. maaaaaaaaaaaaybe 16-18k with the lucky.

Well the game is only avaiable via Amazon or the Eshop in Japan, so it is bound to stay high up, since all focus it would get in all stores over Japan will be directed to Amazon alone.

Very true, I was thinking about that earlier.

I've never seen a game of this caliber (or any game, really) be Amazon exclusive, so there is no real precedent to go by in this case. It'll be interesting to follow.

Indeed, and if it can net a good position in the Top 100 in yearly bestsellers, it can help us have a better understanding of how good those game has sold through Amazon.  Though I wonder if Nintendo may try something like this in NA...
