In that case, Banjo could appear in SSB if the N64 games Banjo-Kazooie and Banjo-Tooie appeared on the Wii U's VC. Or maybe even strike a deal where all of Rare's N64 games will arrive on Wii U.

In any case though, if Microsoft wants to benefit from a scenario where Banjo appears in SSB, they would have to make a good Banjo game for Xbox One.

They should keep it away from Rare then.

The fuck are you talking about?

It would also be cool to have a new conker game.

LOL.

Sure.....

Nintendo be like "That's another platform supported by our games. OH HELL NO."

Sounds like you just want Bayonetta in and Banjo is hindering that.

It could work both ways, yes it would be great for MS to have Banjo in Smash Bros because of the new Xbox One Game, great advertisement for them, but then gamers who have Xbox Ones (and there are more then Wii U owners) may feel that much more tempted to buy into Wii U as a secondary console just to get their hands on Banjo in Smash Brothers. .. Maybe they could have adverts on billboards on each game ,In the Smash Brothers Banjo zone they could have bill boards saying ,Play Banjo's new adventure only on Xbox One, and on Xbox One the could have bill boards saying ''See Banjo Smash his way through the competition in Smash Brothers only on Wii U.. .. Plus Nintendo could launch a amiibo of Banjo and well that's a win win situation as well as collectors will want Banjo amiibo what ever console they own,,

It would be so aahhhhh! Lovely ,harmony in gaming..

And in some way they would have to own both consoles to be happy if that were to occur...would it not? (Specifically to enjoy Banjo, period) Thats all I am saying. They might as well go dual console if they want some love from Banjo. Personally, Bayonetta deserves that love. ;)

P.S.

Its wishful thinking until it happens. Microsoft would have to license the character to them and we'd get the news for it.

Its like Sony having to give Spiderman back to Marvel.

Sony is letting Spiderman appear in the Marvel universe movies, though.

Phil literally said that it could be done. He's the guy in charge, and Microsoft has put Xbox exclusive franchises on Nintendo before, including Banjo. If they'd make a full game for a handheld, they'd have no problem giving a character a cameo in a game about cameos.

They wouldn't have to own both consoles, just like a GBA owner didn't need an Xbox to be happy with Banjo GBA. I don't see a problem with Banjo, a previously Nintendo character, making a cameo in a game celebrating the history of both Nintendo, and gaming. And neither does Phil. Phil just confirmed that it's not. The only people that would stop this now are Nintendo and lack of demand.

With Sony's financial i'lls its in their best interest to let Marvel use Spiderman, because Marvel will more than likely make more money with him and do a better job with him. They really need the money or else they would've stood firm against giving Spiderman to them.

As for MS and Nintendo doing business, MS has done business with Tecmo and put Master Chief in DOA, so it could happen. I am just saying i'll believe it the day that it happens, thats all. Personally as a fan of smash i'd rather have Bayonetta, because there is no character like her in the game. Banjo is unique as well but Bayonetta to me is just badass and shes represented Nintendo better than I thought. When I get my Wii U I must have her game, kart and smash so I would be more personally inclined to want her in.

I see your point though. Lets hope Nintendo allows things to go smoothly if any of that is to be believed.

I would rather have Conker, but Banjo is also good enough!

The competition between the two ended before it started.

You'd be surprised how many people would easily switch over given the option.

If Banjo suddenly became 1st/2nd/3rd party, I would be less surprised than depressed, lol.

The Spider Man move had nothing to do with Sony's position. The Spider Man movie all make money already. Bayo has been in only one Nintendo game. She's not even close to deserving being considered a Nintendo character, yet. She's just a 3rd party exclusive, like MGS and RE4 on GCN. Same with Snake and Leon. Banjo was born and raised on Nintendo. If any other non-Nintendo character deserves to be in Smash, it's him. Him and Nintendo have a history.

I think it would be an extremely good PR move for both of them.
