According to Aquamarine, who knows quite a lot on NPD, Amazon only constitutes 5% of all sales. The vast majority goes to Walmart, Gamestop, Best Buy, and Target.

This also explains why Amazon doesn't predict software rankings that well. As for hardware, I think the reason why it has had a perfect track record is because console buying habits on Amazon are similar to those in other retailers. However, software buying habits are not.

Why? Amazon is saying PS4 will win April NPD. PS4 will win April NPD. We'll see what comes next month but as of right now Amazon is still right. As soon as the Arkham bundle comes back into stock PS4 will be first again.

The hourly tells only half the story. The monthly still has the PS4 with a huge lead. And there's reasons why the PS4 is currently low on the hourly.

Also Walmart has a free controler with the PS4. That could be affecting TLoU bundle on Amazon too-

I hope Sony have increased production of the Arkham Knight bundle, and that is why it has not been back in stock for three weeks, because demand was greater than expected and they need to see how many they can produce before making commitments to retailers.

Otherwise, Sony what are you doing

Seems like a strange time to release  a new sku, when sales are generally decreasing and you have just released three exlcuives in the previous few months.

The basic PS4 doesn't even say it will be back in stock on the 25th anymore, unless I missed it.
