Actually, she reminds me of Olivia from Fire Emblem Awakening, who btw could easily be mistaken for a typical magical school girl. I never denied she didn't look like one but "40% of the trailer is an anime sim" is not realistic in any way. Using that logic, any game that doesn't use anime is "a movie sim" That's my point. Atlus chooses to use Anime for their cutscenes. What's wrong with that?

I specifically used the words "slice of life high school anime sim." The focus wasn't primerily on the "it's drawn in an anime cutscene" part. It focused on the whole thing, because that is a very specific genre of anime right now, and like 40% of the trailer was dedicated to how the gameplay would simulate that. I don't think that's an inaccurate to say at all. I could have easily used this:

And I would have been saying the same exact thing.

Game looks amazing. Really hope they drop the association of SMT X FE though.

Why?

Because it doesn't really resemble it. Seems like a standalone title, even like a spin off of Persona...

I already stated this somewhere in this post but there was an interview earlier where they said the plan is to make an entirely new RPG, just with elements and characters from SMT and FE.

So in a way, I think they intend for it to basically be a standalone title.

they already dropped SMT part. Is just the first FE spin-off in Japan
