The 3Ds worst isn't the Ps4 worst and the 3DS best isn't the Ps4's best or maybe bloodborne has something to do about this.
No, stop, consoles are dead in Japan.
On a serious note: It seems as though the PS4 actually having games now is having an affect on the Japanese population, they aren't as easily fooled into buying hardware.
There's only 2 races: White and 'Political Agenda'
2 Genders: Male and 'Political Agenda'
2 Hairstyles for female characters: Long and 'Political Agenda'
2 Sexualities: Straight and 'Political Agenda'
The same problem with PS Vita...
Just because they are the best for the market, doesn't mean that other consoles won't ever beat them in sales..

[3DS] Winter Playtimes [Wii U]
PS4 had big months in Japan due to the release of many popular games while 3ds didn't have a lot of popular games in the same time.
For the UK 3DS outsold it by a bit because of the new 3DS
