Any release post august/september is holidays, thats when releases start ramping up, it's not just a 4 week window.

We shall see about Xenoblade but I'm expecting a release not sooner than october.

no. and november + december makes it 8 weeks.

Do you follow release schedules? The bulk of the games come out between september and november. December almost never has a major release.

Couldn't I flip that and say sony only cares for the first few months of the year. The Order-Feb, Bloobourne-March........Uncharted 4-Q1/Q2 2016. That could be well over 1 year gap.

There is more thn that between the time gap, but keep believing there isn't.

Nintendo released MK8 Q2 last year...

Ok I will.

Nintendo definitely does not only care about the holidays. Last year, it released Donkey Kong and Mario Kart 8. Mario Party 10 just released a few weeks ago.

Microsoft is another story...

Do you follow the dictionary? holidays refers to the very end of the year.

Splatoon and Mario Party 10 are pretty big

Nintendo always has lots of games for the rest of the year, so no. Although the holiday period is definitely the most crucial for them.
