I hope it sells well. I would be happy with 500k but I don't know if it will hit that high. But it will be a great game to add to the wii u library and I'll definitely be picking it up.

between 65 and 70, i also expect "progressive" sites to give it shit for the alternate outfits being "sexist and objectifying", too.

Yeah, a low score. But then that is the average score of the series so nothing really surprising. Fans will love it anyways, I guess.

In the dream world maybe. Fire Emblem sold so well because of critical acclaim, which this game will be very far from. Add to that the next to no advertising, the Wii U demographic and the general unfamiliarity in the west and you got yourself a flop.

I don't think it can top any of the previous FF games, specially FF2 but seeing as it's gameplay seems to be an improvement over the previous ones(which were all great) then it will do decently critically but will probably sell way below expectations.

I don't think this game has expectations in terms of sales. Even entries on the PS2 and the Wii didn't sell very well. It's a super niche series, and Nintendo knows that. Localizing this is purely fan service and also serves the purpose of filling out the release schedule.
