I think that people should give both games a fair chance if it's the type of game one enjoys. It might not be easy to play both if you don't own both consoles so, worst case scenario, try to enjoy the one you get.

I've played games in all 3 series and I can't really decide which one I'm more excited for tbh. Probably SMT x FE at the moment since this is our first real look at it.

I disagree, the Persona 5 trailer didn't have a lot of weaboo-ness to it, which Iike, also, this trailer had an annoying female character with the voice of a 4-year old screaming "ONICHANSU!", so, yeah, it kinda sucked.



I'm now filled with determination.

Having played both Persona and SMT games before, the Persona 5 trailer really set the game up as being a true next-gen and worthy successor to the previous amazing installments in the series both in terms of gameplay and setting.

The SMTXFE trailer left me with a HUGE WTF kind of scenario. That looked nothing like a SMT game which generally tend to have much darker overtones. It didn't help that the whole trailer had barely any gameplay whatsoever, instead focusing on mostly anime cutscenes which just made it look very J-POP/Idolmaster-esqe. Not what I was expecting out of a SMT game. This is not to say the game will be bad, but the trailer certainly leaves a lot to be desired.

This trailer had no where near the level of "style" of P5 trailer.
Honestly looks like a pretty generic anime game trailer IMO, with a little of Devil Survivor thrown in.

Upon further thought it actually looks like a devil survivor game more than an SMT game.

But that's just my opinion.

The choice in music highlights this alone.

I'm still interested in both, but despite this looking like neither SMT or FE, I thought it looked cooler than P5. I will be getting both eventually, but as I already have a Wii U I'll be getting SMTxFE first, and it's now up there with XBCX, tied for first as most wanted 2015 game for me, now that Zelda is delayed.
