I can't tell. I need to see more of both games to judge. However, SMTxFE looks amazing *_*

In terms of music and visual it's looks like Time Travelers from 3ds for me.

I prefered persona 5, But its pretty close, will own both anyway :)

Entitled to the opinion, but eh I don't agree.

Aside from the stylish use of colors for the NPCs in a few scenes, graphically I'd say they were close but neither that much better but Persona 5 get style points because of its use of masked thieves.

There might be a case for better in game looks, but I honestly haven't been able to tell what is what in game for either trailer (besides the stiff jump in the P5 trailer which reminds me it is built around the PS3) to tell which will wind up looking better.

In either case, that was not what was not what I was expecting from a SMT crossover with Fire Emblem. Heck, only the ruined city scape in the trailer reminds me of SMT enough that I wouldn't think this was a Persona or even Devil Survivor crossover. Which personally is a bit of a shame but makes much more sense.

Having played both Persona and SMT games before, the Persona 5 trailer really set the game up as being a true next-gen and worthy successor to the previous amazing installments in the series both in terms of gameplay and setting.

The SMTXFE trailer left me with a HUGE WTF kind of scenario. That looked nothing like a SMT game which generally tend to have much darker overtones. It didn't help that the whole trailer had barely any gameplay whatsoever, instead focusing on mostly anime cutscenes which just made it look very J-POP/Idolmaster-esqe. Not what I was expecting out of a SMT game. This is not to say the game will be bad, but the trailer certainly leaves a lot to be desired.

The trailer was like 70% gameplay, dude. It was flashy, but most of it was gameplay.

First off, dang, that game has pretty good visuals for the 3DS!

Second, get your eyes checked.  Textures, polygons, lighting, everything is superior in SMTxFE by a sizable margin, there's no comparison.  Not saying the visuals are facemelting in SMTxFE; they aren't.  But there's no comparing it to a 3DS game.

It certainly has a similar art style in terms of character design (faces I mean, the general model style).

Honestly, the song really ruined the presentation of the trailer. I seriously hope the next time they show the game, they don't choose such a generic animuu song. SMT usually has great music with a very specific tone. I'm sure the same goes for FE. This doesn't seem to fit either. It definitely doesn't do what I hope the game truly is justice. The whole thing looked like a typical fan OVA.

I haven't seen enough of either to make a proper judgment, but based on this trailer i can't say i agree. SMTxFE seems to lack the style and focus that makes Persona 5 look so entertaining. Were it not for the characters, i'd have assumed SMTxFE was just another anime fan-service game.

Japanse anime JRPGS are almost all terrible. I will pass on both because they look feminine.
