a BUG !
PS2/PS3/Wii comparaison with launch aligned:
in america: PS2 sold approximately (impossible to see numbers in a chart )1.3 millions more than PS3

in Japan  : PS2 sold approximately 2 millions more than PS3

America + Japan : PS2 and PS3 have approximatively sold the same number of consoles ??!!

reverie > first time I click on the chart, it becomes interactive and i can see numbers. but if I click again on it, I go to http://www.maani.us/charts/index.php impossible to have the same boxes than you ?!! i try with Firefox and IE 7

titibgosse, My pictures are fake, just a suggestions for ioi! You don't have to click, just roll the mouse over the graph. That link to maani.us tells me that we probably won't see a lot of customizations on those graphs though, or will we?

ioi, any chance we could get the chart with a zoom tool, or perhaps the ability to create contraints so we can view one section of the chart to see the sale trends over a particular period, because like with the PS2 and PS3 comparison the two lines run together so closely that its hard to really see the differences in their sales

Can't you run a nightly job that generates the chart once a day or even once a week? There is only so many variants and the data doesn't change much during the week. This way it will reduce the server load.

Also, why is the 360 < 7million?  shouldn't it be 9.7?
