Also 3DS is doing well with only like 1 major release and 3-4 ok ones for the entire year so far


Vita is doing pretty will with only like 0 major releases since its launch.

0 major games? More like 5-7 major games and great support that gets 7-8x more releases than 3ds from third parties

Name one major Vita release in Japan. I guess you could say GE 2 and GE 2 RB, but that's about it. 

The 3DS has Monster Hunter (several of them), Youkai Watch (Again, several of them), Pokemon (once again, several of them), Animal Crossing, SSB for 3DS, Mario Kart 7, DQ VII remake, DQ Monsters, I could go on and on.

The 3DS has much better support in Japan of games that Japanese people actually buy.

I didn't list only million sellers first of all.

Second of all, Freedom Wars sold 300k in Japan. Nothing to snuff at, but not big by any means, it's only big by Vita standards, same with P4G, sold 320k. Like I said, I can give you God Eater, that's a big title. The first Toukiden (which is the best selling so far) sold 430k on Vita and PSP combined. Again, not bat, but certainly not a "Major hit" when compared to Monster Hunter, Youkai Watch, or even Dragon Quest Monsters (or a ton of other titles which I won't bother to find).

 

The Vita gets lots of support from japanese third parties, but most of the games it gets are really niche. Youkai Watch Shinuchi has probably outsold the last 20 Vita releases combined. (in Japan)
