Well it lost April. But did PS4 lose out because of Batman? Or was it cockiness? Perhaps it was both

Well, they got one sale from me. Seriously, that gunmetal gray is beautiful, so I bit. And I don't even like Batman. I bet there are quite a few people out there like me, too.

No it lost out because of the insane plethora of Xbox one deals including NBA 2K15 and Ass Creed bundle with a whole year of Live for 349.  Combine that with Batman and surely the Xbox One can win a month.

People are sleeping on Bats.

The bundle will be Destiny big.

Batman Bundle would have had AN effect on April PS4 sales. And since the Xb one and PS4 are quite close (if 174K for PS4 is right) then a modest Batman effect could have been the difference between winning and losing in April.

If May is also a close win for PS4, and June ends up being a very big month for PS4 it is a reasonable conclusion that there was a transference of sales from April and May to June because of Batman in general and the Special Edition bundle in particular. People will obviously be bringing forward their buying intentions as well, so not all of the Special Edition sales will be people deciding to wait a bit longer, some will be people deciding to buy sooner. If Xb one had won April NPD by ~50K then the Batman effect would not have been a major reason for that difference.
