You clearly missed my point, I'm mostly reffering to the HARDWARE expectrum when talking about Vanquish 2 being on next gen.

I'm fully aware that the Wii U is an 8th gen console, however its hardware doesn't come close to what the X1 and PS4 offer atm, hence why Scalebound is the true and only Platinum next gen experience.

See in the end I find that Plat really loved making Bayo 2, most devs are about making a fun and great game, something to show off what they can do rather than making games to be exactly like Bobby over at Activision, it;s sad that people think of them this way because honestly they got paid for it and it happened, especially when no one else at all in this world came to them within the given time and it was better that it happened than simply not happening at all when it comes to platinum because they really do make weird and yet wonderful whacky games and yet for all they make they get less attention and less attention means less people buying and playing their games and that already happened last gen, people saying it will be different are clearly lying to themselves, last gen was big and had big numbers and loads of whacky titles that also either sold well or did bad, plat just happened to be in the bad catagory and that was a damn shame. Nintendo paying them to make the game and in essence make it exclusive was a good thing because let's face it Platinum hardly get as much attention as most AAA devs/pubs do, From for example was niche but now they in my eyes are far more popular than Platinum and I don't even like the Soul Series, I just like From for AC.

Thing is at the end of the day if we split Plat into doing a complete mutliplat game then we're going to have another one of those field days with DF andf then we devolve back into "which version is better" and then who sold the most = who gets to steal Plat as exclusive = buy them because they sold more on platform X and it never stops from there, you can tell me it will somewhere but you;re lying, I;ve seen it played out hundreds of times on other places and especially on here it gets played a lot (esepcially in regards to From), I'd rather Platinum just make Vanquish for Wii U and let it sell as is rather than fudge the game up completely towards different platforms because I just get sick and tired of having a game fucked over because one or a few platforms can't cut it or one buys exclusive content or worse when the PC version gets completely botched because the devs didn't care enough (looking at Ubisoft/NRS) etc.

This.  The game has the best third person shooting mechanics in terms of how well it controls, but the game got way too repetitive and boring long before I finished it. 

I'm using that term because PS4/X1/PC all allow for superior features than those found on the Wii U

Prettier graphics aren't just a resolution or framerate boost, there are particle effects, higher NPC density, etc...

Not to mention a potentially fun Multiplayer mode with the ability to chat in game with your buddies ;)

Now that's a true next gen experience!

I loved Vanquish, so if there's no other way for a sequel to be released than on the Wii U, so be it. I bought the Wii U for Bayonetta 2, so I obviously have much respect for Platinum Games as developers. Such a shame their games do not sell well enough, though.

Like I said, you want better graphics. Bayonetta 2 has an online multiplayer mode. I didn't know chatting in game with your buddies was a true next gen experience.

Bayonetta 2 is the second highest rated 8th gen exclusive game by the way. Just saying. ;)

You make zero sense.

If we're talking about graphics here, PC blows both the PS4 and XBO out of the water. Does that mean only the PC is a "true next-gen experience" (although you really mean current gen because next gen would be Gen 9)? The PS4 is stronger than the XBO, does that mean only the PS4 and PC are part of "the next gen"? 

We can divide this a million damn ways but at the end of the day, it only serves to fuel the same useless ass war that's been going on for ages. It's pathetic, petty and quite frankly, immature. 

If being a Wii U exclusive is the only way to see it come to light, then I'm all for it.
