That's only valid if the concepts were introduced, agreed upon and then put into motion before 3 months ago. Otherwise at the time the 2015 was still in play. And don't you think it would make a hell of a lot mroe sense to announce Zelda for NX at E3 instead of lying about a delay? |
so, when the E3 2014 trailer showed a 2015 release date, and all those release schedules with Zelda being a 2015 game, were justified líes?

Ya. He's totally lying and the game was delayed to make it more suitable for both interdimensional entities and earthlings.

Of course at that point it was the intended release date, just like 2005 was for Twilight Princess before several delays to launch on Wii.

Technically he didn't say it was delayed till 2016. He only actually said "we are not TARGETING for a 2015 release" so technically, if they work hard and it is done in time, they will release it in 2015. But they made the message to let fans know that it will probably be released in 2016 due to them wanting to add more things and them being unsure of how long it will take.

While I wont deny that possibility, there's nothing obvious about it. People have pointed out that it would be a little strange if that were the issue because they cancelled their showing of the game off at e3 this year as well. If that were it, they would have kept it for this year's e3. Even if they ran into some problems, we saw a version of the game running fine enough to demo off at e3, so showing it should have still been possible. It would have been a good thing to still show it if that were the case. This then makes it more believable that the reason given might be true.

Don´t enjoy it too much. Its a matter of weeks, maybe just few days.
The Nintendo fanbase is more critic, that´s why a delay makes them mad. Not like others.

And maybe the others have so much games to play they are not worried too much about games getting delayed, thats my reason.
