Huh? How would it possibly being 2016? If it wasn't for Ninten announcing mobile, we probably wouldn't even know about NX. They'll likely talk more of it at E3, but no way it's coming out next year. Their biggest games are just starting to roll out. 2017 seems a bit more possible.

Cloudman once again shows why I respect him so much. good job!

; ) Thanks. It just doesn't make sense to me. Release games that could be played for years with friends and online, and then release a new console a year or little more later? Yeeah, I'm not seeing it. O:

Could be possible.

Has anybody thought that Zelda has been delayed due to the reasons on the statement? That they actually have new ideas to implement and want to create the best Zelda experience possible. Its not so far fetched you know.

Ninja Gaiden 3: Razor's Edge

Pokemon Rumble U

Lego City Undercover

Game & Wario

New Super Luigi U

Pikmin 3

The Wonderful 101

The Legend of Zelda: The Wind Waker HD

Wii Party U

Wii Fit U

Wii Sports Club

NES Remix

Mario & Sonic at the Sochi 2014 Olympic Winter Games

Super Mario 3D World

Dr. Luigi

Donkey Kong Country: Tropical Freeze

NES Remix 2

Pushmo World

Mario Kart 8

Hyrule Warriors

Bayonetta 2

Super Smash Bros. For Wii U

Captain Toad: Treasure Tracker

26 Nintendo published Wii U titles from November 2012-December 2014, or an average of 1 Nintendo title per month with some of those being Nintendo's biggest franchises. All that did was allow Wii U to sell 9.2 million, there really isn't much else that can help Wii U in a meaningful way.

I was meaning more of titles like Smash Bros, MK8, Splatoon, X, Starfox, and other titles coming out this year. They did release a bit of games since the beginning, but honestly I don't think many of them were that good, or system sellers. I think there could be a couple more games that could have a bigger impact before the NX comes out.

If 2D Mario/3D Mario/Donkey Kong/Mario Kart/Smash Bros aren't system sellers (series that typically sell over 5 million each) than things like Splatoon/Xenoblade/Star Fox have a very, very slim chance of doing anything significant.

Yeah, I doubt they do. But at least it adds more games to the list that would give more people reason to buy it, right? : )

That's true but not really relevant to ur original post and it's not like those games simply aren't coming anymore if NX does get a 2016 release. Add to the list above

Kirby and the Rainbow Curse

Mario vs. Donkey Kong: Tipping Stars

Mario Party 10

Splatoon

Xenoblade Chronicles X

Mario Maker

Devil's Third

Star Fox

Project Gaurd

Project Giant Robot

And u now have 36 Nintendo-published Wii U titles over the course of 3 years. Add in a couple unannounced 2015 titles and a few 2016 titles and ur looking at over 40 Nintendo-published Wii U games before NX releases. For reference, N64 & GC each got about 50 Nintendo-published games in their lifetimes.
