How about the dynamic weather systems. Where the the whether is physically calculated and "scales" with the gameplay. The rain affects how you drive in Driveclub (although such things exist but not dynamically). Or how the magic effects change because of the weather, like in FFXV (again xD). I don't think I have ever seen something like that before.
"Weather has a tactical impact on battle conditions, with different types of magic having varying effects depending on weather patterns. Using fire on a clear day, for example, will not only hurt monsters, but also ignite surrounding area, make allies feel hot, and the like. As such, using magic can be a liability." Source
Does being bored and seeing how much dust can fit on a console count?
Joke aside
Nintendo games in HD (first time ever so its unique!)
And the usual Nintendo gamepad stuff like off TV play.

Nemesis system is Middle Earth: Shadow of Mordor. Its sometimes repetitive but a unique feature of the game. This game has to be the most innovative game I have played in this gen.
Absolutely the HDMI throughput on the Xbox One and never needing to switch inputs between devices. It's great because I always feel connected to my gaming world even if I'm watching TV. Getting a game invite or snapping and reading an Xbox Live message while I'm watching TV. That's definitely a unique gaming experience that we've never had before.

I don't have the energy to argue with you, Materia-Blade. If you want to believe ACU's crowd simulations would be totally possible on the PS2's 294Mhz CPU, or that WiiU titles like 3D World and Pikmin 3 are so technically complex that they couldn't be scaled back onto the Wii, that's fine by me :) |
I'm not believing anything, YOU ARE. You're the one saying wii u games could work on wii, that means you must also believe ps4 and x1 games could. Both thoughts make the same amount of sense.

Both Bloodborne and 1886 could definitely be scaled back onto the PS3. You could probably argue that the feel/atmosphere of both would be hurt my the transition though (more so Bloodborne, despite it being technically inferior).
To your other comments:
FF15:ED is a great example. Some stuff is a bit of a let down, and the core game could still be scaled back onto the PS3 and 360, but stuff like its real-time lighting and incredibly complex animation system truly feel "next-gen". Dynamic weather is also a good example (especially when it directly influences gameplay).
Now SE just need to work on the shitty IQ and stability :p

I think touch controls in 3D games belong to this generation. There were a couple of experiments with them on DS (Metroid Prime Hunters and such), but it wasn't quite 'whole' until the likes of Kid Icarus: Uprising, Monster Hunter 3U/4U, Pikmin 3, Tearaway, etc. Even on the mobile side, 3D games were pretty uncommon until around 2010-2011, right when the 3DS launched, so I would probably consider most of those 8th-gen mobile games.

The best use of the better AI I think is the nemesis system, yes its on last gen too but its stripped down.

You seem to think we live in a world where the WiiU is as capable a piece of hardware as the PS4 and X1, thus if i say "[x] WiiU game could be scaled onto the Wii", it must inherently apply to all PS4/X1 games. It doesn't.
Again, i don't have the energy to argue with you. You've made your stance on the supposed technically complexity of current WiiU titles clear in the past ^^ Discussing it further is pointless.
