Yeah, it was short but I liked it the most because of the things you mentioned. That impending doom really added to the excitment imo. I think they should combine the best of the three titles into a forth, with that time constraint and difficulty of the first game being the thing they retain from the first.

Oh, and also, I think having ONLY one character was best. Having three to control was just too much at once imo. I never used more than one player in Pikmin 3. The only time I did was when the game forced me to.

I like having more than one character, at least the ones in 3. They were quite the characters, so I liked them. But yeah, 3 does seem too much for me to handle.

Maybe they can do a sort of Pikmin 1 as the main game and then do like a 2/3 as post game.

It'll be on the next console. Miyamoto will want a new experience and it will help boost the initial sales of the system.

I think it's an ok quantity, because allows the Mission mode to be very callenging. 

I don`t mean it`s necessarily a bad thing, but it does become challenging for me to manage 3 characters at once. I can get scatterbrained a lot and forget what I was doing with one character.

I would rather they make it for the successor.

I think they will make a handheld version next or maybe even a port of the first two unto 3ds/n3ds.

i would love a pikmin 4 on the Wii U. even this holiday season. i mean, 3 was amazing, and why not, its a great concept and needs more

Pikmin is very at home on the Wii U and since it will be around for a while another version will be welcomed. However, I don't recall hearing Nintendo working on any sequels at the moment so I will have to assume it isn't happening in less than 3 years. In that time I think we might see the next Nintendo console.
