I found the Blood Starved Beast, he was easy.

Father Gascoigne is murdering me.

I had a change of heart with Gascoigne, I think he's actually easier to deal with in beast mode because you have a tiny bit more time to gun-stun him than in his human form.  So if you're up for it find the tiny music box, use it to stun and pound him a few times then keep your distance from his beast form and shoot him as he pounces in or is doing a long combo.  Once he went beast it took me five or six visceral attacks (and a few extra blows here and there) to take him down.

As for the bag guys, they're good for farming blood shards if you need them, have a rare chance to drop a twin one, they're easy to gun-stun before they go hyper as they really telegraph their moves, but you have to be quicker with the trigger after they glow red.  Use pebbles to lure one away to a more isolated area to take them out one at a time.

You can use the music box on him? What happens when you use it?

It will stun him for a couple seconds but he'll go beastie after 3 or 4 uses and then it has no more effect on him.  It's about risk reward.

Today was a good day. Beat the Undead Giant after a millionth attempt, finally had co-op to defeat both Vicar Amelia and that electric beast (Yaarl or something?). My weapon of choice is still Ludwig's Holy Blade, with Saw Spear on the side if I need range and attack speed. Not a fan of the counter mechanisms as I often failed to time it properly, so I mostly just hit and run. Now I plan on doing the lv2 labyrinth and killing the hunters in Old Yarhem.

BTW, where do you get the password to give the dude at the Grand Cathedral's door? Also, is Oedon Chapel really safe lol That guy gives bad vibes and I just told someone else to go take refuge there.

(Didn't notice this came with the latest update!!!)

it seems many people were having trouble with her, beat on my 2nd try; upgraded weapon(mine was +3) + flame paper made her healing/regeneration mute

also I was killed by some monster carrying a sac and was taken somewhere else...I found my way back by lamp  but can't go back via lamp....should I have stayed there?

also what's blood work/transfusion? i rescued this lady in a red dress(looks red) and i have this option

You can get back via a different tombstone than the yharnam one. The Blood is just a usable item that increases vial healing for a while I believe.

I cannot for the life of me figure out the gun timin. pretty much don't even use the gun at all, hit hard and hit fast has been my tactic

So, I have yet to even attempt to fight Vicar Amelia, but I did find an area where I encountered one of those bag-swinging guys, and I do agree that they hit like a mofo. o.o But ultimately, they pale in terms of 'Oh Dear God' to another creature I found in the same region that... well, I'm not going to spoil the specifics, because it's fun if it's a surprise! I'll just say that their grab attack drains your Insight, and does so in such a way I am going to fondly refer to it as the 'Hentai Monster' from here on in. >.

Zanten, Doer Of The Things

Unless He Forgets In Which Case Zanten, Forgetter Of The Things

Or He Procrascinates, In Which Case Zanten, Doer Of The Things Later

Or It Involves Moving Furniture, in Which Case Zanten, F*** You.

Lol Hemwick Witch was a joke =P
First time and I was never even close to dying. Amelia was so much more bad ass

How do I get to Vicar Amelia, and how do I get the password? Do I have to beat that boss before I get the password? I hate that this game doesn't give you any type of direction on where to go.
