Well like 95% of their games have been on PlayStation platforms, so its not really surprising
They have found their audience and their studios are small, so it's probably for the best.

Promotional support likely for Japan. Sony needs small prolific developers to fill in gaps between larger games.

Really? I didn't think so. I Though they had no insentive to go to diffrent platforms because their audience only exists on Playstation, and they have a good relationship with Sony. The games they make are small and their sales are modest, I think. So the finanicial cost of a multiplatform release is unnecessary and is likely is not seen as a proper investment when it might hurt that relationship.
Just my theory. ^^

I love this because those people who say exclusive makes no sense finally have a president of a company telling them that they're wrong.
"“It’s precisely because nobody else is making that big jump that we think there’s value to be had in setting our sights square on PS4,” Niikawa explained. “As a result, we’ve received support from Sony and are now able to do things like put out commercials. In that respect from a promotional perspective, there are merits to going the route that we have here.”"
