Never got any hate mail, but I did have someone draw a bunch of penises and sent it to my via Miiverse. That did not end well for him.
I don't know what triggered him to send me penises. I commented on how I was enjoying the Amazing Spiderman and posted a screenshot as well.
Nintendo actually left the penises on there for over a month, I never reported it. It took them like 6 weeks before they found them on their own.

OT: as i mentioned before i wasnt able to post a screenshot of my hate mail since it didnt carried over on my account but i will mention two that i got while playing BF3:
the first one was a guy telling me something along the lines of: "Get a Life" or "do you even have a life?", it was a dude who i killed over 20 times in a match and every time he spawned i killed him almost right away, i wasnt chasing him it was just a coincidence but i cant deny it was kind of funny, and the second one was some dude who said something like this: "you f#cking tryhard!", i recieved it after my team won and had a really good match on one of the close quarters dlc maps, needless to mention the guy who sent me the message wasnt on my team XD.

Something like: "¡pinche pendejo, a la verga, qué culero manejas el puto sniper, chingada madre, pendejo!" Something like that, just longer and in old-fashion messaging text, with many ortographic errors... I remember that I replied him saying: "dude, it's just a game". And he basically made a copy-paste of his previous message.
My bet with The_Liquid_Laser: I think the Switch won't surpass the PS2 as the best selling system of all time. If it does, I'll play a game of a list that The_Liquid_Laser will provide, I will have to play it for 50 hours or complete it, whatever comes first.

I got called "Mas Tramposo" and "Camperoooo" which are a little more easy to translate lol
