@thinkman FFX10 sphere grid was kinda casual. there was no skill involved. its pretty much grinding so you can complete the grid lol.

It wasn't challenging, but it's nice to have some influence over your characters growth.

Regarding camping, I think it would be really nice if they had campfire stories at the same time, that you could listen to, or skip if you prefer.
Those who have played Legaia 2 probably know what I'm talking about.

true but in all final fantasy there were other ways to control that. Like in FF7 it was materia and weapons. FF8  was drawing various types of magic . FFXV is only 60ish percent so things can change and new things can be added. yea i love that game and its campstories. i wish there was an rpg that incorporated xenogears type fighting or legaia style fighting or even legend of dragoon style fighting

My current stance is.
The game will be great. as long as I don't expect a traditional FF experience.

You are not a fan of teh traditional and older ff?

Seeing that most people did not care for 13 and most consider 12 to be a weaker entry into the series.... That takes us back to X which was 14 years ago to find the last universally loved and praised FF. I guess that would make most people a fan of old FF games. I hope the slow down the combat alot from what it was in the demo and make it more tactical as opposed to quick twitch.

psn- tokila

add me, the more the merrier.

Haven't played the demo but i guess the cstomization options will appear only n the final game ? Also it seems choosing weapons and stuff allowed a lot of gameplay option in the demo from what i heard.

As far as camp level up is concerned, i actually like it cause u can skip the level up part. I lik to get everything and do every side quest but i still want the final boss to be a real challenge.

*Press R3 after locking on any enemy to make it permanent.

*As for the MP and Kinghswords ability. It is a balance issue. Leveling up in general happens too fast, you become over-powered for the regular enemies. If you try to kill the Behemoth without using the summon, you will not feel powerful or invisible. The Behemoth acts fast, so consuming all MP the is very risky.

Agreed on the rest. Especially the party members in the narrow cave. Uh.

Thanks for the R3 tip did I miss that from the tutorial or something? camera and targetting still need a bit of work though.

Definitely a balance issue, one that will hopefully be fixed in the final game. The Behemoth is super easy, actually:

A) Spam R1+X

B) Hide behind the rock to recover your MP

C) Rinse and repeat

No fun in playing like this but it works wonders.

I don't think it was mentioned in the tutorial, It was mentioned in the help menu.

As for thr Behemoth, almost every time I do the warp attack ability toward his head, he counters it and I end up dead. What am I missing? Maybe I should attack the legs?

Same here. Really digging the demo, but there are cameras issues and customisation is really limited.
But as some said, it's only a demo, to show the game is still happenning (it's been 9 years...).

I'm really starting to think we might have a great FF game on its way.

Just because you have an opinion doesn't mean you are necessarily right.
