Yeah, it doesn't make much sense... Not only will remastering GOW3 be fairly easy (relative to titles like TLOU), but they've already got 720p/1080p-60fps versions of the other 4 games. They could probably get away with adding very few additional upgrades to them if they included all 4 with GOW3.

If they do release just GOW3 then fine, but it better not be full price. I've been pretty vocal in my acceptance of remasters, but that wouldn't be at all acceptable.

8th Gen consoles: Selling you 7th gen all over again


Not a dig at Sony or this particular remaster btw....but I think we can all agree that so far this gen consists of entirely too many ports (and most of them aren't even very impressive)

Why not the whole collection including the psp games? I know these already have their collections but just bringing GOW3 is really really half assed.

There are a LOT of PS4 owners who never had a PS3. Remastering the best PS3 games makes sense for Sony.

Agreed, starting to get a little rediclulous. Would have been better if it was all GoW games, like what they did for the PS3. Probably just using this for quick cash on GoW 4, or whatever the new one is.

There is no such thing as "too many ports". I remember a time when more games on a single platform were considered a good thing.

These remasters take little effort to make and we're still seeing plenty of new games. So what's with the complaining?

It is a bit :/ Especially when, like i said to Azerth, they already have 720p/1080p-60fps versions of the PSP and PS2 entries. I don't imagine it would be particularly difficult to get them run on the PS4. It's not like they need to squeeze every bit of power out lol.

That's your opinion. My opinion is that it's companies taking advantage of the new gen's lack of backwards compatibility, and that they'll remember how successful it was when it comes to deciding whether any future systems should be backwards compatible. Sure it's good for them. Not for gamers though
