I find it hard to maintain hype over a figment. I need something tangible.

Being excited for a games potential does not mean you have got to buy it. it means you are excited for the potential of a game. You can change your mind at any point lol. I just do not see an issue with keeping us excited for the future (still dying to get my hands on No Man's Sky lol)

I can't stay excited over nothing. Devs assuring us everything is fine but giving us nothing solid to go on is annoying.

well, for me, the lack of any confirmation of platform for Gravity Rush 2 is rather unsettling. Since many are claiming GR2 is now exclusive for PS4.

What I do not understand is why it annoys you so much. There is info on interesting games in the news pretty much everyday.

SM3DW was 6 months. 6 months is plenty of time.

If it was six months, it would always seem like there's hardly anything coming. We wouldn't have even heard of Zelda U yet.

On the contrary, it would always seem like somethings about to come out. We would had just heard about XCX, Splatoon, and the like.

But we would only ever know about a very small number of games. Not for me.

I would disagree; most of the games I am interested in haven't shown new material in months.

Maybe it is just you then? Your scope is obviously limited

I am interested in games on several platforms (PS4/PS3/PC/Wii U) there is something about an interesting game on those platforms pretty much every single day

I actually like it. Eventually it won't feel like a delay because everything will catch up. You'll get a game announced and then a few months later it will release. The only thing that will change is the gap between reveal and launch, which is much better for the consumer. It's also good for companies like MS and Sony because they don't run the risk of revealing it early and having the idea stolen by the other company.

The PS5 Exists.

Maybe you are having bad luck? MadMax is pretty much the only game I can think of that I am interested in that went "silent" for quite a while
