Op, change Sony to MS and I'd be inclined to agree. As it stands we have a clear market leader who is known to age like a delicate wine as time goes on (as in it only gets better with time)

Oh, a console that gets better in time? why? because with time has more games?

I´ve never seen something like that.... except for every console on the human history.

Perhaps, but compare them to last gen where for like 4 yeas MS was launched like 4 exclusives, halo, forza()multiple, fable, gears. While sony and nintendo wherelaunching like 3 big ones per year and a bunch of little one, I say the 360 aged the worst.

It takes genuine talent to see greatness in yourself despite your absence of genuine talent.

I like my popcorn extra salty.

And the first 360s didn't get better with time. They got RRoD instead (had to go through 3 of them)

If you ask me, open world Zelda is bigger than all those Microsoft games.

Sony has the sales, so while i think they need something for the holidays, i dont think they are in any kind of danger. Especially because the PS4 has been getting more exclusives during the year and the Xbox has nothing. I would argue Microsoft are the ones that have to prove on E3 that they are more than a Christmas box.

Yeah, but it sucks that one individual opinion sways E3. I've seen Nintendo win E3 before and those tend to be Nintendo's best years for gamers. Sony has the sales, but as far as games are concerned I cannot say whether I believe they deserve it even as a PS4 and Xbox One owner. I can definitely see that better days are coming as I know Sony are late bloomers. That whole "Greatness Awaits" thing is so true with them, because we're always left waiting. Microsoft always bursts out the gate with third party exclusives. Look at the Xbox, 360 and now the One. Microsoft is investing in new IP's but the new ones I hope survive this war and give birth to sequels are Quantum Break and Scalebound. I believe with all of my heart that Gears 4 will have a CG trailer at the next E3 so a lot is riding on what happens here. E3 can affect the holiday expectations of sales within certain brands. Fourth quarter matters a lot though and thats where Microsoft tends to win. I fear less for Microsoft on fourth quarter. I am playing my Xbox One right now much more than my PS4. Hands down MS has come to the show ready to fight. The question is will Sony live up to their great name and show some fight? Right now they are missing punches while Microsoft is throwing all of the landing blows. Nintendo is just fighting to get noticed.

What blows have microsoft landed on the PS4? Did i miss something?

I can say something  like "The Order is shit ", or something like that and get instantly banned because i´m being ofensive even if is true and half of the planet  knows it. But hey, you can be all the surly you want as long you hide your intentions behind a "innocent" sentence. Really tired of that.

Sony don't need to announce anything for the PS4.

Just the Vita.

I'm sure they both have absolutely nothing planned. They will both sit there, twiddling their thumbs thinking "Man, we wish we were like Microsoft with their Halo and Tomb Raider."

Hmm, pie.

Nintendo could announce Pokken, Metroid and Animal Crossing this E3

That´s 3 big titles.

I would add a new Paper Mario and maybe even a new F-Zero and we're even up to 5 big titles.

I expect at  least one of the abowe to show up at this years E3.

Other titles I'd expect from Nintendo: Mario Maker (with release date), Starfox (with release date) SMTxFE (trailer and infos), Project Guard & Giant Robo (trailer, infos, maybe release date), Zelda (with confirmed holiday release date), XCX (again, with release date) and something yet unexpected.

Additionally wished: Devil's third (with release date), more infos about that F2P game teased in the january direct, Pokkén Fighters Wii U announcement, 50$ price drop.

Possible, but with weak chances:  New Virtual console plattform (N64 or Gamecube), additional colors and themed consoles for the Wii U

Very improbable, but I'd really love to see this: Fire Emblem Warriors

And of course some additional N3DS games.

I think I stop there, that's already enough for a digital event around twice as long as the last one

All Nintendo needs to do is show off 3-4 new never before seen upcoming Wii U games and thats pretty much it.

"I think it will be the HDS"-Me in regards to Nintendo's next handheld.

Okay I thought of a more direct way to respond to your remark.

So wine always gets better with age.

Was 2013 the best year the 360 ever had?

Was 2012 the best year the Wii ever had?

In almost every metric except personal opinion the answer to both of those would be no.

Was 2013, for the PS3 its best year ever?

Now we have a serious debate. The Last of Us, the most awarded video game in the history of our planet was released that year. That would be seen as the pinnacle of any company in my opinion.

Using this logic, and my original post, I declare that no, not every console ages like wine and consistently gets better with time. In fact I would say some consoles have a problem with premature ejaculation.

To be honest you should probably take what I just said with a grain of salt.

And take a chill pill dude lol
