Forums - Nintendo - Some of the worst Nintendo mobile game ideas I've ever seen.

1. Metroid Prime. Have you seen shooters played on mobile? The controls are not responsive.

2. Xenoblade. Why the heck would they make a Xenoblade RPG spin-off on mobile?

3. Fire Emblem. Just no. There won't be many people playing a strategy game on mobile.

What is the worse mobile idea you've seen?

Are you kidding me? Did you have a look in an appstore recently? Turn based strategy is one of the most played genres on mobile phones.

If you demand respect or gratitude for your volunteer work, you're doing volunteering wrong.

Fire Emblem could be a massive hit.

Fire Emblem actually isn't too bad but I really hope that they won't make it for mobile....

Something like Smash Bros wouldn't work that well..
Games like Xenoblade, Zelda, etc. could possibly work but it takes a lot of effort to make the controls work well..

Clash of Clans is a very diffrent market from Fire Emblem.

Bet with Xander XT:

I can beat more games on his 3DS than he can on my PSVita in a month. Loser has to buy the winner a game on his/her handheld Guess who won? http://gamrconnect.vgchartz.com/thread.php?id=193531

Fire Emblem could actually work, and there's already a market for turn-based strategy games because of the controls I suppose. Though I'm skeptical about the story of this hypothetical cheap game.

Edit: Clash of Clans didn't write the Bible for strategy games on smart devices.

You mean Clash of Clans clones? You know what they all have in common? Stupid stories, with way too long building times. Fire Emblem is a tactical rpg dating sim, not a 3d tower defence game.

You gave them a great idea when trying to present bad onces :/

Lol @ Fire Emblem not working. That is the type of game that is perfect for mobile.

Mobile gamers love strategy based titles.

Just crazy misconceptions go around about the mobile gaming scene. It isn't angry birds and candy crush with a dose of clash of clans and nothing more.

Look up "Partia". It's basically Fire Emblem and its on mobile, plus it even has a sequel. That or games like Skulls of the Shogun, another strategy based game similar to Fire Emblem.

iPhone = Great gaming device. Don't agree? Who cares, because you're wrong.

Currently playing:

Final Fantasy VI (iOS), Final Fantasy: Record Keeper (iOS) & Dragon Quest V (iOS)

Pretty much this. SRPGs and turn-based RPGs are perfect for mobile platforms.

You know what would print money on mobile? A modern version of that old Gameboy Pokemon TCG RPG.
