nah, I don't think so. I don't believe it will do MW2, BO1 and 2 numbers but it will sell steadily about 10m across all platform every year which was the normal before the boom. It will keep selling COD4 MW, WaW numbers. By the way you should have waited for BO3 numbers before any prediction. BO3 will provide a better picture of the franchise.

This year, i agree.
But in 2016/2017, i don't see CoD the break this number's.

Also, I had a problem with this statement:
"almost sure that next Call Of Duty ( BO III? Ghost 2? AW2? ) will coming even on PS3 and XB360... but the Call of Duty of 2016, will probaily releasd only on PS4/XBO/PC, and withouth the PS3/XB360 user, the decline will be monstrous!!!"
There is a high chance that those COD players that keep playing on last gen console will buy a current gen console to keep playing their COD games not to mention that by 2016, there should be more new COD players ready to upgrade assuming the 2016 COD game is next gen exclusive. So if there's a decline, I don't thing it will be because there's no ps3/xbox 360 users that time around but for other factors.

Well, it is overtracked in the US by a huge margin according to NPD, and probabily in Europe too, considering that since the launch VGChartz still not adjusted the sales in Europe... (and before the first NPD adjustment for the US, CoD was VERY overtracked) Honestly, i don't see CoD AW become a 20m+ seller (but probabily will become accoring to VGC). |
Even then, VGC doesnt count digital copies and you can be sure to hell that the DLC for CoD will continue to sell in the millions.
Game makes a fuckton of money, its going nowhere.

With the install bases of the next gen becoming greater, more dev. time, and more opportunity, I believe that Call of Duty will be around for some time. How much I dont know, but I dont believe that 2017 will be the last year we have heard from the FPS series.
For me though, I would bet the 'WildCard' the series can now devote more time into is eSports. Since the UK is already building arenas for said form of competition, and Call of Duty being quite popular over in the UK, along with continual increased viewership, I would say having something like eSports can further increase interest. How much remains to be seen, but if Black Ops 2 and Advanced Warfare were any form of indication, it seems that Treyarch and Sledgehammer have their bets on making the series as balanced as possible to not only invite enjoyment, but competition as well.

You do not put "call of duty" and "die" in the same sentence, OP ...
I hope so. If justice existed, it would have died already.
i thinks it going to die at some point in this decade
-the fans dont like it because of campers
-gamers in general dont like it because its so mainstream now
-and you have to pay both playstation and xbox to play online so their MP focused game will lose a lot of people
I think when they make it 8 Gen only they will get seriously hit in sales
