What kind of news reporting is this? Nowhere does the gentleman from SE say they are working on a JRPG or if the title is even from Japan. It could be the new Deus Ex or Hitman.

I hope it's something new that's multiplat and not exclusive, last thing I want is a brand new exclusive JRPG on a platform I'm hardly going to buy.

I hope that it's Dragon Quest XI but it'll most likely be a new IP. But Level 5 working on a PS4 game is quite suspicious. Dragon Quest's 30th Anniversary is next year so I think it won't be DQXI because Yuji Horii stated that he wanted the game to be released sometime near the Anniversary date which is 2016.

What? That's exactly what he said. The entire quote is about JRPGs, and he concludes by saying he thinks they have a little surprise this year.

What? That's exactly what he said. The entire quote is about JRPGs, and he concludes by saying he thinks they have a little surprise this year.

Nowhere in the OP does he mention JRPG. It only says they are working on an unnanounced game for home consoles, which could mean anything. I had to look up what he actually said on an another site, this is what was said:

“In 2015, I believe we will offer a vast number of high-end games in both the domestic market and overseas. Now that we’ve already announced Final Fantasy XV, we will also reveal  information on [another] JRPG. I believe we have a bit of a surprise in store for this year.”
So yeah, they just ommitted the part about the JRPG and made it look like they're assuming about SE's next game.
