TBH the only consoles that deserve their own special congrats on winning NPD thread would be PSV and Wii U. But we know that ain't ever happening. There you go I've put it out there for the universe to prove me wrong.

But since there is one for 3DS I will give an otherwise unqualified congratulations. In some ways 3DS is the most important handheld console in history. While I personally have no investment in handheld console gaming existing or not existing in the long term, a lot of people regard it as their primary gaming platform, therefore it has an important place in the gaming world. And it has been the source for some truly great games.

For future NPDs, it may win another one if there is a confluence of factors: PS4 has a nothing of significance release month, and 3DS gets a price cut. Though that will probably need to happen before PS4 gets to $299 either this year or next year.

Nope. Just nope. No way for 3DS sell more than XBO in November, even with 10 Pokémon game's.

And even September will be very bold, because usually PS4 did beasting with the bundle (Destiny in 2014, Metal Gear this year).

Of course it can, but in my opinion don't will happen, in 2014 XBO was at 500$ and now it is at 350$, but the sales are rise by only 7%, if that is the trend, in Dec NPD of this year it will sell less than 1.4 million... imo, i said not more than 1.5 million, but who know!
