I got it!
Okay, I arrived at Walmart at 10:30 p.m. I had assumed that there would be a rather large waiting line and there... wasn't. In fact, the man in electronics didn't even know what it was or whether it was coming out. He told me to come back tomorrow morning. I don't take no for an answer.
I found a store manager and had her check the inventory. It was there. At 10:45, I was told that it would be an hour and 15 minutes before I could purchase it. I could mess around in Walmart for a while, after all, that's what Walmart is for. Most of that time would be spent playing the demo PS3 and its demo games which was fine. No lines was kind of disappointing.
Shortly after around 11:20 p.m., a man came in and asked about it. He was buying it for his son. At 11:30 p.m., another man came in and he was buying it for his son as well. Finally at 11:45 p.m., a guy and his father showed up looking for it as well. Finally at about 11:55 p.m., another person came who was actually buying it for himself (finally someone who actually knew what the game was...). At 12:10 p.m. by my watch (12:05 p.m. by a normal watch), I had the game. The man in electronics was kind enough to remember the order in which everyone came so I got it first.
Oh, and the line was up to about 15 people by then... and there looked like there were only about 20 copies.
