The Wii U will be higher for sure but the reality is zelda is the only big hitter nintendo has this year.  And that might be delayed. 

No. If you do not believe that Xeno and Splatoon together will have a similar impact as MK8 did last year then I don't know what to say.

Xenoblade for sure is going to be a big hitter, Splatoon? It has the potential. Depends on how it is marketed.

Zelda yes is a HUGE hitter but so is Star Fox U. Don't forget about that either.

X is only in Japan for now and wii u is doing terrible there now.  No momentum at all.  The game will give a boost but nothing long term.  Splatoon will do nothing.  Same with starfox.  Mario party will give a small boost but nothing major.  Zelda bigger boost but smaller than either mario kart or smash.  A lot of people think it could be delayed so I won't believe you on it until I get a release date. 

Xeno is coming to the west in the summer, it will give a boost in all regions ESPECIALLY NA.

How are you so sure Splatoon will do nothing? And Star Fox? The original Star Fox sold over 4m. Splatoon has the POTENTIAL to do stuff. Mario Party 10 will give it a boost yes, and yes, it won't be major. Zelda will probably give a bigger boost than you think. ;)

I just know they won't.  Zelda is the only mainstream game on the list.  These are nearly the only games releasing too.  The bumps will be temporary.  

Xenoblade X is this year's Bayonetta 2 ... a game with a lot of hype from Nintendo fans and will get great reviews but won't do sh*t to boost hardware sales.

I think Splatoon is this year's Pikmin 3/DKC: Tropical Freeze.

Nintendo fans betting on these two games to cause a large hardware boost for Wii U are going to be sorely disappointed I think.

That said ... Vita long term is in even worse shape than Wii U.

I can't take this seriously with the lack of Dreamcast.

So what can you say about Fire Emblem? Awakening sold over .50m than the original and over 1m than its predessecor. No one thought that would sell that much.

The original Xenoblade sold .89m with limited availablility, almost no advertisment and since then, Shulk was added to Smash, giving the series a TON of popularity, X will be distributed a lot more. Everything fits in.

Splatoon, Xenoblade Chronicles X, Zelda U, Star Fox U, Devil's Third, Yoshi's Woolly World, Project GUARD, Project Giant Robot, Fatal Frame V, Project CARS, Rodea The Sky Soldier, Legend of Kay, LEGO Jurassic World, Project Treasure, Mario Party 10, Mario Maker, Shin Megami Tensei X Fire Emblem (not sure on release date due to Atlus not providing any news for it) (and now for unnanounced games that are obviously in the works, Animal Crossing U (this will be a HUGE boost) Metroid U(so will this even though this would most likely release in 2016)

Plus, don't forget the games that haven't been announced yet.

The Vita has been more or less shipping the same amount of consoles as Wii U in the last 2 years.

The Wii U has been selling more than Vita YoY. Wii U will surpass Vita weather you like it or not.
