Vita is down 60% in Europe from last year. Of course...

vita is dead in europe
even more than us

ps4 tracking is decent 350 - 450k undertracked only

Considering that 350k to 450k accumulated over just two months, i'd say it's pretty bad. Not awful, but certainly not 'decent'.

This made me laugh: Vita is even more dead in Europe than USA...
Vita had a good month on amazon.de (Germany = second biggest country in Europe).
Vita is doing very good in little European countries (Georgia, Spain).
Europe  Sony territory

u  make me laugh
im from germany btw.

look at the weekly pal charts top 50 or top 100 from germany
the "good" month on amazon was only because of some firesales of 99€ for game bundles
playsation tv is going for 49 euro at nearly every mediamarkt/saturn

yes europe is sony territory. but only for homeconsole. not handhelds.
that's nintendo territory

All the same, we still have seen PS Vita at amazon (Europe) more often than amazon (USA). And Europe is bigger than USA.

europe is only bigger population wise

the home console market is still smaller
the dedicated handheld market probably, too

and u can't compare the bestseller list form 2 totally different regions that way  :O

So I'm looking at the chart and it says it's updated, but the numbers are still the same from last week?

Won bet with t3mporary_126 - I correctly predicted that the Wii U's LTD at the end of 2014 would be closer to 9 million than 10 million. http://gamrconnect.vgchartz.com/post.php?id=6673287

Looks like SW updated...559K for The Order FW? Not bad.

I wonder how my prediction is going ..

Should put the actual figures, not roundings...

vgchartz should round their figures and stop pretending anything but  the leading digital (occasionally) is accurate.

+1

they should round to the nearest 1k at the very minimum

These numbers are really strange. We already have the 20.2m+ statement so unless there will be a massive 600k+ last week of feb VG would be willingly wrong despite official numbers....

Official estimate. But likely to be a muvh  more accurate estimate than VGC.

I picked 600K for The Order, so with rounding it's good to see I was 100% accurate We already know The Order dropped 56% in the UK for its second week, so if that pattern holds globally that would put The Order's 2nd week at 245K. I think the global drop might be more like 60% though so I will guess 200K fot the Order's 2nd week. I'm guessing it will hit ~800K by the time the launch phase is over and then we'll see how long it takes to leg it out to 1 million.

A good hold over for N3DS, dropping only 32% suggests a decent baseline for most of the year. 3DS baseline in March 2014 was ~120K per week, it will be interesting to see where N3DS lands in March with the first week in March being the 4th week post N3DS. 150K perhap on weeks where there are no significant releases?

DOA seems to be a franchise that is about to die, something about which I have essentially no opinion, but which possibly speaks to the maturation (ageing) of the gaming market. I know pretty much nothing about the franchise but from an outsider's perspective it seems like a game which has it's main aim of being putting scantily clad young women on screen with substantial boob jiggle...and some fighting.

Wait a minute. Wasn't the announcement of 20.2m PS4 sold through for the end of Feb? How the hell is VGC going to square this?

PS4 to sell 800k next week. Duh!

iPhone = Great gaming device. Don't agree? Who cares, because you're wrong.

Currently playing:

Final Fantasy VI (iOS), Final Fantasy: Record Keeper (iOS) & Dragon Quest V (iOS)

actually Tecmo has been trying to make it more serious with this installment, the boob jiggle isnt anywhere near over the top as it used to be. I think its better for it but this is something that should have been done years ago around the time SF4 came out and put fighters back on the map. Now its a little too late despite going back to being multiplatform
