Forums - Sony - Should Sony stop advertising The Order?

So I'm still seeing The Order advertisements but they should really stop. The Order is not even on the top 100 best sellers daily and for a game that is being advertised, that's really bad. Honestly they should just save that advertisement money for when Batman/MGS V come out or just fully advertise Bloodborne. I think most of the general public knows that the Order is a "bad" game (just because of metacritic), so I don't think its worth it anymore.

What do you guys think? Should they stop advertising it?

Also please don't turn this into a thread about whether the Order is a good or bad game, the game has a bad repuation whether you think its a good game or not.

Yep. They should just give up and put it on Netflix already, like they did with the Interview.

I would wait for the sales numbers before making such a claim, tough bloodborne should get all the ads now as much as possible there i agree

Already paid for it. Might as well let it ride. Terminating contracts just costs more money.

Hmm, pie.

The sales numbers don't change what kind of game it is or what people think of it.

Can you even cut advertisements suddenly like this?  Don't you have to plan it way in advance?

Also Sony knows that even though the game hasn't gotten good reviews they're probably going to try and make as much money off of it as they can so they probably will keep trying to advertise it.

It's the same thing as when Destiny came out and they had scores from all over the place and sites that nobody knew of because they were looking so hard for someone that gave it an amazing score to advertise on TV.

Gold. White and gold that is, not that filthy black and blue.

I feel like this is a pretty good stopping point for the thread

Where is everyone getting these sales statistics
