what can be a better name for the successor of PSP?

It's code name was  Next Generation Portable (NGP). Not sure that's a fitting name for a final product.

Honestly I think the Vita's a great name.

Yep, XBOX ONE is "XBOX uno"

PS1: PlayStation uno

PS2: PlayStation due

Playstation Leben isn't the best name, you know. Vita sounds cooler than your other options.

Ahah just saw on wikipedia too. I liked to spell NGP and I was used to that so when they said the name was Vita I was disappointed and would rather they kept NGP or PSP2.

My Vita to-buy list: The Walking Dead, Persona 4 Golden, Need for Speed: Most Wanted, TearAway, Ys: Memories of Celceta, Muramasa: The Demon Blade, History: Legends of War, FIFA 13, Final Fantasy HD X, X-2, Worms Revolution Extreme, The Amazing Spiderman, Batman: Arkham Origins Blackgate - too many no-gaemz :/

My consoles: PS2 Slim, PS3 Slim 320 GB, PSV 32 GB, Wii, DSi.

Could have just as well have. Sony has used weird naming for their handheld systems. At least they were sensible when it came to the PlayStation consoles.

I didn't think the name would market well. But take it for what life is and not what language it is. I'd have gone with a Japanese name. They are way cooler than near any language imo.

What is life, answer that and you'll see what I mean.

Sony should continue doing the best brand strategy ever, adding numbers.
(something that MS and especially Nintendo should learn to do imo...)

PSP 2 sounds like the morm, I do like the sound of PSP Vida though since it sounds close to Vita but slightly Itialian.
