I think Xbox One is a fine name. They are in a weird position because 720 would be a dumb name and Xbox 3 would confuse people. Xbox One just gets the job done and sounds fine.

The biggest issue with Wii U isn't the name, its the mandatory tablet control.

I think Vita is a fine name as well. PSP2 would have arguably been a better name but maybe they didn't want to go that route due to moving away from the UMDs.

Sony is in a good position with its home consoles because they just stuck with a basic numbering system. They don't have to put any thought in it.

Their names aren't their only issues, but they certainly didn't do them any favors. I don't particularly dislike any of the names, but just from a consumer standpoint, they're confusing.

PSP Go was an awesome name, shame they wasted on a hardware revision that alienated its entire audience and made their software collection redundant.

Playstation Go or PSP2 would have worked better. Not the main issue with the PSV but still a silly mistake on sonys behalf

You're right about Sony's home consoles.

MS was always going to have it the hardest. I quite like Xbox One.

Xbox 10 

would all have been great aswell. I'm sure no one likes using a name thats been circling around the internet for years prior though lol. Funny also that the media functionality has been pushed right to the back of MS's priorities meaning the whole purpose of the "One" in X1 is kinda pointless now.

I'm quite skeptical as to whether they'll have another handheld to be honest. Hard to see the outcome being anything different than the Vita.

I vote psp2 but who cares, the real name now is ps indies or ps mobile or ps no AAA games anymore or ps remote play machine, back to more important staff like 2,50 megaton updatate :)
