Microsoft has the smartest commercials. The Gears and Lost Odyssey ads were pure brilliance.

Nintendo has the most mass-inducing-convince-you-that-you-need-this commercials. Brilliant in their own way.

Sony's commercials pretty much suck. You don't sell "cool" when your system is $400 and there are competitors on the market who do what you do better.

Let's not bring Apple into this. Apple is above and beyond anything that has been done in the video game world, though Microsoft came close with their "Mad World" commercials for Gears of War.

Even then, MS didn't have the "stickiness" of Apple's commercials.

I believe the only xbox commercial (we are talking about hardware commercials) is the one where they deliver the xbox everywhere and some idiot parachuting from the sky to play it. Probably dumbest thing i've seen.

PSP gets the "MOST ANNOYING" commercial ever with the guy constantly bugging you. man, how I want to punch that guy.

I would never let some creepy asian guys who say "Wii would like to play" into my house. (before anyone calls me racist, I'm part asian).

I have to go with PS3 on the 'cool' factor there.

All 3 console commercials need help:

360- barely any commercials, but gears one was the bomb

ps3- pretty good, had ratchet and clank message sent out well

wii- good, sends a clear message, adverts games well

you all can't deny TEH PS2 HAD THE GREATEST COMMERCIALS IN VG HISTORY!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Damn things have changed since 2009 began. Here are my new visions for the end of the generation.

Wii: 135 mil

Ps3: 85 mil

360: 60 mil

Remember the Ratchet and Clank 3 commercial when the guy held the Shock Blaster and blasted himself into the sky?! Or the Jak X one where the guy shot a missile and blew up his neighbors house?1
