Mother Brain. Ridley is too persistent for me to like him. The guy was already ressurrected, mechanized, cloned twice...

The Metroid Prime is my second, managing to survive samus's confrontation and being reborn into a new threat = Awesome.

Other M was a very average game btw, not bad.



My bet with The_Liquid_Laser: I think the Switch won't surpass the PS2 as the best selling system of all time. If it does, I'll play a game of a list that The_Liquid_Laser will provide, I will have to play it for 50 hours or complete it, whatever comes first.

Personally I think Metriod are more of a force of nature at this point, they don't actively try to villainous schemes, they just like to feast on everything they see. Not to mention we see if raised properly they are loyal and of course per last game in the franchise canon, Samus now has Metriod DNA as well, making her the last Metriod.

I played all metroid games, but i thought metroid other M is not that bad, i can see why people dont like it, but hating on it that much is not so healthy people xD

I think few villains/bosses will reach the emotional feel of Mother Brain in Super Metroid. The shock when she changes form would be reason enough for me to put her on the list. The feeling of despair/frustration when she takes you to near death is horrific. I'm not going to reveal the bit of deus ex machina that appears after this moment...but it really completes your transformation into a god-like being when you already felt indestructible. The moment is so iconic, it probably is the best thing about Metroid: Other M.
